MY OPINION!
(After 16 years in the retirement business.)
- Most people do not save money!
- Most people do not know who they are really working for. They think it is for the car salesman. the grocery store or the telephone company. The real person should be you FIRST!
- Most people live until retirement age 62/65 or later.
- Most people spend more time planning their vacation than they do their financial future
- Most people had rather blame others than take the responsibility of taking care of themselves
- Most people do not even think about saving money for retirement until about the age of 50/55
- Most people think their 401 k account is an emergency fund.
- Most people think an emergency fund is something that you use if you have a flat tire.
- Most people that have a CD thinks their CD is insured by the bank when it is truly insured by the FDIC and the CD holder pays for the insurance themselves.
- Most people think a tax refund is a saving account. ( who else would you let borrow money all year long with out paying you any interest")
- Most people can not save money without the company deducting money from their check.
